Our AussieBid SafeBuy program is a voluntary initiative designed to provide an innovational service to our users at AussieBid.com.au.
Our users benefit because AussieBid SafeBuy program builds up trust between buyers and sellers at our marketplace. This program is a part of our safe trading guide through our auction service as the AussieBid SafeBuy icon will be displayed on your auction, profile and feedback pages. It is a better alternative to having your Credit Card details on file.
This is a positive step enabling our members to trade with greater safely on AussieBid.com.au and will give both buyers and sellers greater confidence in their dealings with other members.
How do our users benefit from AussieBid SafeBuy program?
- For our buyers:
Your bids on any auctions will show  icon with your username as well as on your profile and feedback pages. This will identify you as a genuine buyer at our online marketplace. Sellers will know that you are trustworthy. As an AussieBid SafeBuy participant you will receive expedited access to customer support and personal guidance from the support team at AussieBid.com.au.
- For our sellers:
Your auctions will show icon with your username as well as on your profile and feedback pages. This will identify you as a reputable seller and gives buyers confidence to bid on your auctions. We will add a link to AussieBids SafeBuy Sellers' auctions in every category to display your auctions to potential buyers.
Also you will receive expedited access to customer support and personal guidance from the support team at AussieBid.com.au.
How do you qualify as an AussieBids SafeBuy member?
We take the following information into account for eligibility.
General users:
- Using an ISP e-mail address within our auction service (Essential).
- A copy of a residential document* e-mailed to AussieBid.com.au in .jpg form.
- Or a .jpg image of your current Driver's Licence matching the name and address under which you registered.
- Maintaining at least 95% positive feedback on AussieBid.com.au. Zero feedback is obviously permitted for new users.
* A residential document could be one of telephone/electricity/gas accounts which shows your name and residential address as registered on AussieBid.com.au.
Corporate and Business Users:
- Using an ISP e-mail address within our auction service (Essential).
- A copy of a Business Registration or ABN e-mailed to AussieBid.com.au in .jpg form.
- Maintaining at least 95% positive feedback on AussieBid.com.au. Zero feedback is obviously permitted for new users.
- If you have a webpage, please send us the URL.
Our system will verify the supplied information and feedback ratings before the AussieBid SafeBuy icon is displayed.
How to apply for Membership of the AussieBid SafeBuy Program?
Make any necessary changes to your personal details in your account at AussieBid.com.au. You should change your email address to an ISP one if you currently use a free email address with us. Also check your name/address is the same as that given in your residential document. Please Contact Us if they are not identical.
Send your application by e-mail to SafeBuy Team. and don't forget to give us your AussieBid username, contact name and telephone number with your application.
We will then process your application with 5 business days of receipt.
