People and thier Pets is a series that I have started in November 2005. It's about the FACE ( a long time focus of mine) with it's animal friend ( a new addition to the work)


In this piece you can see a woman and her cat.


Faces are so fascinating: the direction of the eyes, the flowing of the hair, the accessories chosen for the ears, the colors that appear on the skin.
There is a limited number of components to the face: two eyes, one nose and one mouth contained within a shape…
and yet.. so many different faces seem to appear in life and on the page.


For this one, first I drew with a gel pen in black ink and then I painted in the color with watercolors.


If you decide to bid you will be bidding on the one piece shown.


This is an original painting. It is NOT a copy.


The piece is hand signed on the front.
