The magazine features short stories, articles on being a Governess, beauty & hairstyles, diet & weightloss, an article on Hope Cooke - a USA expat who became Himalayan Royalty, Hollywood updates,recipes, 7 pages of knitted & crochet collars & cuff patterns, an Enid Gilchrist designed Apron pattern, gardening, reader feedback & letters, handy hints, a fun section called Our Playground plus much much more. There are also many great ads for products.. some of which are no longer with us... such as The Art Training Institute (full page back cover & colour),TV Week, Family Circle, Tampax, Vitasafe Plan and Pyrex (full page & colour) just to name a few. |
