A gorgeous piece of Australia's social history, this 55 page magazine is in very good condition. The magazine features short stories, articles on when to marry, diet & weightloss, instructions for a crochet afghan skirt and stole (featued on the front cover), Hollywood updates, recipes,children's raglan pj's pattern by Enid Gilchrist, an article on Debbie Reynolds, gardening, reader feedback & letters, handy hints, a childrens double page called Our Playground and how to dress so your daughter will be proud of you.. plus much much more. There are also many great ads for products.. some of which are no longer with us... such as the Galvanico Electronic pencil for hair removal (full size back cover), Rinso, Medicated Rexona Toilet Soap, Can-o-mat can openers, Curlypet, Commonwealth Bank and Bovril just to name a few. |
