This handmade crystal glass miniature expresses all characteristics of Dachshund's appearance: extreme intelligence, pride and a good humour.
The most remarkable Dachshund's feature is the shape of his body, long, muscular and with short legs.
He has also elongeted head and a slight convex skull with a long muzzle, eqquiped with extremely strong teeth. Dacshund's ears are mobile and hanging long on his cheeks, his tail is carried in line with his back. The shorthaired Dachshund's coat should be shiny, sleek and uniform.
Originally, Dachshund was bred in Germany many hundred years ago for hunting at badgers. With his shortened legs this bred was designed for going down inside the burrows.
Need of adventure is just in blood of this dog. He is very courageous, energetic and excellent companion for walking in a park or for longer travelling.
Curious and mischievous, Dachshund is very clever and may attempt to train the owner rather than allow the opposite. He is devoted to his family and moderately protective.
Measures of the figurine are: 3(3,5) x 7(7,5) cm. Dimensions may slightly vary, because of 100% hand work.

Careful packaging is one of the most important factors of distance selling, especially if one has to deal with fragile articles. We pack adequately your precious item for a safe shipment.
First we wrap the item in a bubble wrap, which makes gentle, but very strong protective "coat" around the glass statue or miniature. Then the item is placed in a box, which is filled with especially designed for fragile items packaging material - "peanuts", made of bubbled foam. This packaging method is very efficient, as the foam is absorbing much stress and pressure while keeping the contents safe. |
