Each pack contains 6 chewables or tablets.
Give one per month for the prevention of heartworm.
Heartgard Plus also controls roundworm and
hookworm, but not tapeworm or whip worm.
For
dogs
23 - 45 kgs (45 - 100 lbs).
Note:
Heartgard Plus is not suitable for all breeds e.g. Collie breeds, Collie
crosses and some Shepherd breeds. For Ivermectin
sensitive breeds, it is recommended that you use Advantage
DUO, Canimax, Interceptor, Proheart or Sentinel,
Before an adult dog goes onto prevention,
it needs to have a blood test to ensure it has not already infected.
Infected dogs starting on prevention without being tested, can suffer very
nasty side effects. Puppies under 3 months of age do
not have to have a heartworm test.
