DESCRIPTION
Do you have a fund raiser in your theatre company to deal with? Here is an idea. There are 10 short one act plays, in this book. Some noted ones are



  • The Man in The Bowler Hat ( a Terribly exciting Affair)- A.A. Milne


  • The Rehearsal - Maurice Baring


  • The Black Horse - Vance Palmer -( a noted Playwright)


  • The Monkey's Paw - W.W. Jacobs


  • The Bishops Candlesticks - Normal Mc Kinnel


  • Birds of a feather - J.O. Francis- ( as this is a comedy , I have no idea but do have a feeling that it has something to do with that English T.V. series )


  • Campbell of Kilmohr- J.A. Ferguson

This is just a few,( 7 out of 10 actually) . All for a very low start price. Great for theatre groups dramatic societies or whatever, or someone planning a 2007 curriculum!

 

The book itself is a little scuffed as it was my English Lit book back in the 60's, but apart from the ageing yellowing of the pages is still in readable condition. Some of the plays mentioned in it alone are sold on other book sites for a lot more.
