Eagle claw boxing is an animal imitation style, and was originally called eagle claw fanzi walking boxing. By absorbing some techniques of Yue-style boxing, and imitating the grasp of eagle claws and the soaring of its wings. Eagle claw fanzi boxing was created from the basic movements of Fanzi boxing. The hands are formed mainly like eagle claws with fists and palms as transitions. The hand techniques contain grasp, strike, pinch, grab, turn, snap, hook, and brush. Thrust with snap and strike, withdraw with grasp and grab. Grasp and grab the opponent's wrist, muscle joint, bone joint, and crucial points when fighting. The active movements of long style boxing, such as jumping lotus kick with body turning and butterfly are added to the modern eagle claw. And the big range movements, such as turning into seated stance, turning with bend leg, are added to this fist to enhance the pictograph and artistry.
