HESSIAN HELMET COVER - REPRODUCTION
This is a new made item, as worn by Aussie and commomwealth troops in North Africa, Syria, Greece and Crete during the second world war as their fathers and uncles wore them in the trenches of the western front in the Great War. This item is made from a defence spec hessian sand bag usitizing the string used to tie the top of the sand bag closed, made as the Diggers did them.
Khaki cotton drill uniforms are also available as are the size 1 and 4 web anklets, please ask for a current price.
