I am a Professional West Australian Artist and Illustrator (Anthea M - Art and Design). I have paintings in private collections in Canada, England, America, Norway, Germany and Japan, and I have a large amount here, right across Australia.

As well as the Commissions for Animal and People Portraiture (and in these I specialize in a beautifully realistic style), I enjoy Fine Art and accept Commissions, and have participated in Exhibitions here in WA.

I also love Illustrative Art and have a very realistic style which looks superb in both black and white (Ink or Charcoal/Graphite etc) and coloured mediums. I have had my Artwork published in books and magazines, and online on Websites.

PORTRAIT SIZE:

12 x 9 inches or 29.7 x 21cm

- this is an A4 size sheet

(There is an area left blank all the way around the image to allow for matting)

MEDIUM:

Artists Grade Graphite/Charcoal

SUPPORT:

Winsor and Newton Quality Acid Free Paper

FRAMED/UNFRAMED:

Unframed

All I need are photographs - which should be of a good quality and size, either digital or hard copy - they should clearly show the features and bone structure.

I also like to know about the character of the subject - the better I 'know' your pet, the more I am able to portray them in the portrait - I pride myself on being able to show the inherent character and personality of the pet, horse, bird or person that I am depicting (people portraits are also available, and are priced separately to the pet portraits).

Each Portrait sold will come with a 'Certificate of Authenticity'. I will ship your completed portrait safely within glassine sheets and foamcore . They will be sprayed lightly with fixative and should be framed under glass straight away to avoid any damage to the image.

I can supply economically priced frames if desired.

I also do larger and smaller sized Portraits of both Pets and People - all enquiries are welcome

It will take around three weeks for your Portrait to be completed, depending upon how busy I am with other orders, although I have been known to do a ‘panic’ job when need be!

Please be aware that colours (even shades of grey) can vary enormously on different monitors and that what you can see will be a close, though not exact reproduction of the real colours, which always look better in real life.

Payment

Payment may be by Paypal for all non-Australian purchasers.

Australian purchasers may pay by Paypal, Direct Deposit or Money Order.

Fees

My shipping charges are clearly stated on each listing, and cover the cost of shipping and packaging.

Shipping

I will ship to anywhere in the world. Shipping methods are via Australia Post and can be by Airmail, Economy Airmail or Seamail. Within Australia a Courier can also be used. Any Customs or Importation costs, if applicable, to be paid by the Purchaser. Shipping charges can vary and are always provided on the listing.

Delivery Times

I will ship as soon as possible once the payment has been cleared - usually the same or next day.

Refunds & Returns

All sales are final - only if there has been accidental misrepresentation of the Artwork will I refund the purchase price, although not any postage or shipping costs - see the terms below.

Terms - The Buyer must contact me within 3 days of receipt of purchase in order to be eligible for a refund. The item must be returned to me in exactly the same condition as when I sent it, including its Certificate of Authenticity, packaged as carefully and in the same way as it was received, in the same shipping manner, within 14 days of receipt.
